Most ICE give remaining range in miles these days ... I don't think anyone ever goes by the gauge? This is our C Class, but even our 2007 Vito displays miles remaining. EVs consume a lot more energy than normal at motorway speeds, hence the observation in this thread about stopping every 120...

When it was much newer I had our Vito up to an indicated 120 mph on a quiet and unrestricted autobahn, on a nice sunny day. That was just a one-off to try it out though.

And because they can typically do 500-600 miles at motorway speeds (no, not necessarily non-stop) before they need to think about refuelling. And yes I know this doesn't apply to an ML63 :D

Is the bolt diameter and PCD of an E Class rim correct for a Vito? From what I can see the standard offset for a W447 is ET52. Make sure you can get tyres of that size with a high enough load rating for the MGW. You'll need a rolling radius that matches the Vito's stock setup or the speedometer...

Were the MB 18" wheels new or used? If the latter then one could be fractionally buckled? Try swapping the wheels front to back (assuming they're not staggered) to see what happens to the steering wheel shake then.
