Nice write up - thanks. I have to agree about Palladium, its a beautiful colour - my E Coupe was finished in it, I was just looking at some photos of it the other day, I had forgotten hoe beautiful it looked.

No the reality is, that in 9 years time we can still choose to drive a car with an ICE. We may not be able to purchase a new one, but we can still drive our existing ones, or even purchase a second hand one if we so desire.

The spec of the SE does not include an internal boot release - as far as I know.

As others have said, a lot of parameters have to be met for the stop / start function to work properly. In this weather mine will often not work, unless the car has had a very good long run. I fear you may be throwing your £110 away - but it may well give you peace of mind.

My last LG lasted 18 months before the LED backlights failed ( well known problem - wish I had known about it before I bought it ) So not everything lasts forever - a good warranty is well worth it. John Lewis get my vote.
