BENZ ON THE GREEN 11TH OF MAY 2024

Must be awful having to choose from those things of yours Jay. :D That 560 SEC wide body may be a nice option, or even the Grosser for a touch of refinement? You could always ask TJ to bring one as well, like that time at Stoneleigh Abbey. :D

No Man Left Behind event Sunday 21st April

I thought about popping up but, unfortunately, have a couple of fuelling issues so I've decided not to risk using the truck till I sort them out for the Newby Hall event on the 5th May. Glad it was a good turnout and enjoyable, at least we had the weather for it yesterday. :)

    Makita 36v pressure washer

I bought a WORX VERSION of this a few years ago now. Probably nowhere near as good as the Makita quality wise but it only gets used about twice a year so fine for me. It was also on special offer at the time, making it an easy decision. I use it purely and simply for meets I go to which are too...

Sportscars in the park SCITP Newby Hall 5th May 2024

Display cars, these are the only tickets which will allow site access. The public ones are just for the visitors car park as far as I'm aware. Oh and yes, mbclub.co.uk is what we usually put though they tend to lump us all together under "German", because they can. :)

What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

Just done a map update after receiving an email suggesting that there was one available. I tend to do them via download onto a USB stick now as the OTA one seems to take forever, especially with my limited mileage. The car's now on the ground after spending the last 6 months on the lift in the...

    Happy Birthday, Spider10

What makes the perfect Winter car

Thought I'd post up a brief bit of my car history for you. :) I've often had another car for the winter and have just had a quick look back at what I've had over the last few years. They've usually, though not always, been sheds and been bought and used to compliment another car, usually a nice...

Sportscars in the park SCITP Newby Hall 5th May 2024

Hi Richie, I'll probably be there again but the novelty is wearing off a bit. We went twice to Newby Hall last year as their alternative Autumn venue at Castle Howard wasn't available. I don't think I'll be in the Mercedes, I'll be getting that ready for Benz on the Green which is usually the...

    W212 Car Mats

I've used THESE PEOPLE before now, lastly for a W201 I used to own. Excellent quality and a various choices of colour and quality to pick from. I've hopefully linked their page to land on your particular E Class though, if not, it may want a bit of "back-paging". :)

    Which watch?

Some good choices in here, I'm not going to suggest a marque as there are just so many similar ones. What I would recommend to the OP however, would be to take a look at Creation Watches. They are Singapore based so "may" attract a duty payment though I've used them many times and never paid...

Favourite pics from this year’s car meets – 2023

Don't remember seeing you at Benz on the Green Sham, so apologies if I missed you. Did catch up with you at Beaulieu though, albeit briefly. :) That EVO you posted was impressive I must admit, a very nice genuine motor.

    M B Tech warrington

MB Tech used to be highly regarded on both this and the other forum. Don't hear too much about them of late, I seem to remember that they got really busy and stopped most of their forum posting and advertising. They've been trading for a good while now so must be doing something right. :)

Just bought a mid rise scissor ramp

The only way to get extra height would be to either mount the scissor lift onto some form of platform, which would have to be pretty strong, or some blocks between the lift and the car. I use these rubber jack pads with mine, purely to avoid damaging the sills or any pipes, not specifically for...
