    Anyone near Crawley?

Their given address is an industrial unit that's currently available for rent and fitted out as a catering kitchen. https://vailwilliams.com/property/unit-5-rutherford-way-industrial-estate-crawley/ On top of that their website makes mention of French intellectual property regs, yet...

    WOW!!!!!

It definitely stands out as a powerplant, especially now BMW have dropped the 6pot from the M140i. I did have barmy notions about putting one into the Superb 😆 We've had that sort of performance from 4cyl in the past (Evo FQ400, for example), just not with the tractability and everyday...

    WOW!!!!!

Probably meant the RS3, which would be a direct competitor for the A45. S3 is A35 territory.

    R129 (2001) SL500 Silver Arrow No 21 of 100

It's mainly the fronts that seem to go on the 3pc, less meat around the bolt holes. They can be welded successfully, I had a couple of pairs of fronts done about 15 years ago to use as everyday wheels and they're still going. I still have those wheels Bill :thumb:, although they'll be going on...

    R129 (2001) SL500 Silver Arrow No 21 of 100

Tricky to judge, as you say they're not often on the market as they're all tucked away to keep the miles low and maintain the value. You have to really specifically want the Silver Arrow trim, otherwise you might as well save yourself what premium there is and buy a normal one.

    Bilstein B6 or B8?

From the horse's mouth - What's the difference between Bilstein B6 and Bilstein B8? The B8 is designed to be used exclusively with lowering springs or vehicles that are fitted with a lowered suspension from the manufacturer like Mercedes AMG models.

    Luton Airport car park fire

Unfortunately for the conspiracy theorists, the probable truth is that it's been nearly 6 months and nobody cares anymore - there's new news to get aerated about.

What makes the perfect Winter car

As previously mentioned, Panda 4x4 or some small Japanese AWD supermini (usually Suzuki or Daihatsu). They were de rigeur where my dad lived up in the hills in Northern Italy.

    AMGmeister adds to he's fleet

This is clearly an imposter. Guards! GUARDS! 🤣

    MERCEDES-BENZ (R129) SL73 AMG

Yep, knocked it out of the park. :thumb: The question now is, what does one do with the proceeds?

    Any IT security experts here?

This is what we plan and write IT policies for, so that when SHTF at whatever level you're prepared (in so far as one can be) for it. It happens far more than the general public realises - much of the time they get nothing and nobody hears anything about it. Occasionally it's worse, you fix it...

    Biggest Car Engines

The worst bit is that dip is entirely artificial to exacerbate the cam profile changeover, because racecar feels. Put correct mapping in place and it disappears entirely.

    Biggest Car Engines

I suspect Gordon Murray's T50 must be up there, given that it revs to about 10 million?

    Biggest Car Engines

Not exactly road going though 😆 On the subject of 500GPs, many summers of youth were misspent in the company of one of these; Krauser 500 in an LCR chassis, campaigned by a family friend. . You'd swear it was actively planning to murder you at any given moment.

Cut said motor in half. The Rotax 125s in the Aprilia RS (et al) were 33-34hp in full fat mode.
