Sometimes Mercedes forgets to pay the bill.

Mine is on P-Zero’s and the ride is pretty good. The only stretch of road where the ride and road noise gets really bad is around junction 12-8 on the M25, where I think they let someone on work experience relay it. The expansion joints between the concrete slabs are huge.

I’ve still got the P-Zero’s on mine. They were fine over the summer, but they’re comically awful when cold. They feel like they’ve been inflated to 100psi until they start to warm up a bit.

I kerbed an alloy the other day, and took it to a place where they told me it would be a 1.5 day job, and about £170 to fix. As it’s the front passenger side wheel, and prone to kerbing, I thought it might be a good idea to buy a spare, and have them on rotation. I called the local MB...

Yeah, silly me. If only I was a know-it-all like you, I’d never have encountered this issue.

I’ll be getting the car back today. Will be interested to see how it looks. Everyone who has seen it says they are really pleased with the result, but I’d rather see it with my own eyes before making a final judgment.
