    Tyres

To be fair the OP asked what do you guys use on tyres. They did not ask where to buy from. As it goes you seem to have done incredibly well all by yourself in searching out [emoji8] If I had been asked where to buy from I would have said from here... Gyeon Q² Tire | SiO2-Based Rubber Sealant...

    Road film removal

Black spots are usually tar so you’ll be needing a tar & glue remover. One of the best is a pain to get hold of as you’ll need to seek out your local Autosmart rep. If you can get hold of Tardis is what you want. After a tar and glue remover, you’d normally see if there’s any fallout and I’d...

Car parts 4 less, terrible customer service

I like CP4L...part of a delivery was leaking and the refused. Contacted them on E-mail a couple of times without response. Opened a PP dispute mainly to get their attention, which as you’ve guessed went unanswered. Full refund and kept the balance of the order. Clowns [emoji23]

So much for the Diesel Backlash..

Is CO2 not any issue anymore then? [emoji23] I’d love a car that’s going to fart rainbows out of the back and make the world a better place. As far as I know they don’t make them? NOx emissions are an issue but this seems a little sledgehammer to me.

    W204 C250 Cdi PAS fluid

I had some loss of fluid and feared a leak but noticed what appeared to be residue near the lid. For a few quid I thought why not change the lid and see if that makes a difference. It did believe it or not and the car ran sweet afterwards...until somebody smashed into me and it was written off...

    Ceramic coating

You’ve done well on a dealer applied coating, don’t normally get particularly good reviews generally.

    Ceramic coating

Sorry that wasn’t to suggest mine is anything special [emoji23] It had a tiny bit of correction maybe a few months back with Britemax Black Max on a green Chemical Guys Hexlogic pad. More of a deep clean than a polish.

    Ceramic coating

The finish is in the prep so to speak. If the paintwork is not looking it’s best before application of whatever protection you are laying down then you are just sealing in the imperfection. Nothing wrong with Autoglym products and the new Ultra High Def Wax is getting good reviews [emoji1360]...

    Ceramic coating

Simple answer is yes, possibly longer, especially if you are adopting a good wash regime. Quite a few variables at play such as mileage, whether garaged etc. Only thing I’d say and this is no disrespect as you may be more than capable of doing, if a ceramic coating gets bodged up on...

    Ceramic coating

Have you used a ceramic coating before? Only ask as you have to have the paintwork spot on before application and you’ll need to allow it to cure without getting wet etc. Personally I’d steer clear of the £10 efforts you’ll find on the Bay. Look into CarPro, GTechniq, Gyeon and for a slightly...
