    Tunnels and your inner child

Hindhead and Hatfield are the 2 that I mostly play in, late evening runs in the Hindhead tunnel are always fun but during the day/early evening it is often too busy.

BENZ ON THE GREEN - Tell us your thoughts.

This was my first BOTG and I really enjoyed it. The drive out was good and I didn't mind being the last car in the convoy I was in but I suspect thats because these are local roads to me and the route I use to avoid going down the Chi bypass. Food was pricy but that has been said but it was very...

...And So Another Season at The Ring... (A45 Death)

It's a toughie, the ring is on my list of things I want to drive. IF I do drive my own car on a public day it will be with an experienced instructor. I suspect though i will probably hire a car and an instructor and leave my garage queen in the car park. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

    ROAD TRIP.....london to Europe

Both the RAC and AA do kits to ensure you have everything you need in your car for Europe. Make sure you are insured for Europe and you might want to consider breakdown cover. I am heading over to Switzerland in 3 weeks and as stated earlier it will be mostly motorways. However I will be...

Live traffic in command online - Is it worth it?

Spooky, I opened the link while watching an STG vid on YouTube on my telly lol. I have those mounts in both mine and my wife's cars. I use waze or Android auto all the time despite having comand. My issue is the Comand routing algorithms seem really poor. I will probably use Comand on Euro road...

BMW Drivers, or Just a Coincidence?

After keeping an eye on this subject and very scientifically (not) watching the patterns of behaviour over several 200 mile trips I can say that there is no pattern of bad driving limited to BMW drivers. It seems Muppets will be Muppets regardless of the car they drive. I did notice that on...

Sorry for the last minute dropout but family issues have meant I have had to dash up to Lincolnshire this evening. I can only apologise and hope to catch you next time. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

If you are looking for somewhere to stay near Ancona (If you decide to go) then the town of Senigalia just north of Ancona is a much nicer place to stay. The Hotel Palace used to be one of the best in town although it's been a while since I have been. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

BMW Drivers, or Just a Coincidence?

Kings of the Road![emoji16] in the Audi's defence (well not really) he was highlighting all the traffic in the overtaking lanes that failed to keep left also he was not the only car that did it. I dont know the area but are they coming up to a junction or roundabout? No excuse for the speed but...

    Planned your 2017 road trip(s)yet?

Lol I am in the Swiss alps in Apr cos I wanted to do some passes. I didn't realise until after I booked so I am treating as a recce. I have seen somewhere (can't remember where though) that Grimsel and Furka passes may be open from the end of March but I have also read end of May. I guess I will...

BMW Drivers, or Just a Coincidence?

As a long time Audi owner who does lots of miles each year, it has always seemed to be smaller VAG built cars. In my C63 it seems to be bigger Audi's and in my ML it's always seems to be Range Rovers driving below the speed limit in the overtaking lanes. However I have a new found dislike for...

totally agree, in fact its only really the tunnels that get really tight (couldnt get a range rover and an MX5 through at the same time)
