I was having similar symptoms with rough/jerky gear changes at slow speeds. Turns out the gearbox was low on fluid due to a leak at the transmission oil cooler. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

From personal experience, I've never had to top up power steering fluid and mine is also 5 years old and on 90k. If you bought it recently from a dealer get it checked out as they may cover a possible leak. You could also see if it gets low again and at that stage investigate for leaks.

Not sure buddy, I would've thought your insurers sort everything out, agree a value, pay you etc and then finally hand the 3rd party insurance company the bill but I may be wrong.

All this depends on the insurance company being okay with you buying the car back. I know Admiral aren't keen on this.

Depending on how much damage there is, but if its written off, may be worth buying it back getting it fixed yourself esp as damage looks largely cosmetic
