    I have a W114 - 1974 with a carb M110. Should be pushing out 30HP less than your djet and it is a blast to drive. Nice and strong. Must be something basic. I’m keen on acquiring a w114 coupe ( mine is a saloon ) so ping me if you ever want to sell. I’m a big fan of the M110 engine.
