This would be a fail at any mot garage? My worry is they’ll try to pick up on minor things to fail it’s mot. Saying that. Tyres are new. Brakes are good. Only thing it may need is new front wipers

My a35 will be due an mot next month. Due a service then too. Was considering getting the lot done at once, at Mercedes garage. I’m assuming if it failed it’s mot on anything other than consumables (tyres, brakes, bulbs etc) they would sort it under warranty before It expires? Or should I just...

Warranty exp next month. Found a set of manual recaros from prev gen a45. I have a 2019 a35 amg. Manual (heated) seats. Are prev gen recaros a straight swap? Do they need to be coded & Will there be any issues with the seat heating?

My a35 (2019) ambient lighting doesn’t illuminate around either side of the centre console. The doors, footwells, seats, dash & vents seem to be working fine. Anyone with an a class with ambient lighting confirm if their centre console DOES illuminate pls?

My 2011 saloon developed a leak on one of the rear dampers around 50k. Worth checking on yours. Otherwise was reliable. Best 2 mods u can do imo are stage 1 map, quaife lsd. Both inexpensive but transform the drive

The seat heatings working as normal today. Checked wiring. Nothing obv loose.. in the meantime, till the seats repaired - is it still safe to use the heated seat? Don’t want to damage further or worse, cause a fire etc..

Thanks for the response. I’ll have a look at the wiring and see if it’s loose. Going further than that I’ve booked it into merc next week. Hopefully they should rectify the issue as it’s still under warranty.. I don’t have access to a STAR unfortunately

Hi all. My 2019 a class drivers heated seat has an intermittent fault. The heated seats works as normal usually. But sometimes I’ll turn it on and within a few secs it will turn off. Only the drivers seat.. is this a fix I could do myself or will I need to book in to the dealer?

Think I may get another M4 to run alongside my a35. Would love a 2019 onwards C63s coupe however 65k + is strong money & would comfortably buy me the latest M5 or E63S

The M4 non comp felt pretty rapid tbh. Biggest let down was the dct(clunky) and the engine sound. Macan was perfect all round tbh, just not quick enough. New one with 2.9 Audi RS engine is lovely too. Never driven a TT V8 AMG but one day hopefully

The sport seats imo are one of the main features of the S.. wouldn’t be the same without them.. in your case I’d go for a pre facelift non S model. Save the ££
