Genuine wheels will have casting marks on them, that's a quick way to tell. Your AMG might have different hubs compared to a standard model? You should be able to do a few internet searches and find this out, or someone with model knowledge may be able to help... Generally I would recommend...

Lovely car, if you replaced the plugs at the same time as the cap and leads, then pull them back out to see if any particular one looks fouled or smell for fuel, then you can begin to isolate your issue.

Custom charges are always something to keep in mind when buying things from China/USA on ebay... looks like the fit is good though.

My thoughts on the car so far, this may help anyone thinking about biting the bullet and going for a R129... This has to be one of the best value cars on the market at the moment, the build quality is in a different league to anything you can buy on the market today under £100k. Video here...

Its not hard and you'd be able to get a das6 or equivalent got less than the price it would cost to pay someone to do it

You need to look for SPIGOT RINGS

If they are particularly bad a wet and dry sand with 1500 and 3000 followed by g3 and a buffer will see you right. Get a nice sealant applied afterwards for protection

Yes beware if you are getting brake lines made up by another garage... Make sure you get them to follow the original factory routing. I've seen some horrible bodges in the past that have cost to put right... Brake lines running over fuel tanks and dangerously close to suspension components...
