Hi. I need to replace the right hand buttons on my steering wheel so need to undo the airbag. Are the two bolts that hold it on to the wheel allan head bolts or torx head bolts. I tried a 4mm allan key but it spins, a 4.5 did not fit. I dont want to damage them using wrong tool.

Followed quality info from other posts about reversing light problems and fixed it first time of asking. Grey power wire feeding reverse light switch under center console was dead. Soldered link wire between cigar lighter power wire and the grey reversing light power wire and all worked...

Just did a bit more reading up. If it is OBD2 compliant it should have a plug inside the car by the engine release catch. I will probably buy a Mercedes specific scanner to do the job to avoid wasting time and money

Will this vehicle be OBD2 compliant. for an OBD2 scanner to be plugged in. Just been reading up on scanners/code readers but most say compatible from 2004 for diesels, 2003 if your lucky. All good advice appreciated SC

Hi, does the E320 cdi auto estate 3.2 ltr straight six have a fuel pre filter. I have previously owned an E300 D and that had a pre filter on the main filter housing. I can see this car is a lot different and having the cdi fuel system on it I expect is more fiddly to work on. Just ordered...
