If you are going to attempt this, buy really good quality drills. Not cheap hss. Drill a small pilot hole, then open it up. Tape up/plug any open injector hole, - you don’t want dwarf in the cylinders….🤞

Have you recently put LED lamps in them? If yes, that’s probably the issue. If not, check the lampholder for corrosion, and the earth points for the cluster for corrosion.

AVPIN. Late 70s I was in the RAF Cadets, and went to RAF Brawdy in Wales, where they had Hunters. I remember the safety briefing we got regarding refuelling and start ups. “If there’s an AVPIN spillage, take steps, effin big ones, at high speed, in pretty much any funkin direction - just AWAY. 😂

It wasn’t a “conversion” - the GTB was a factory built model for the Japanese Domestic Market. But they are a popular ‘niche’ import (like many of the crazy models they have. Like the Nissan Stagea, an estate with the Skyline turbo engine, or some of the wild Toyota Turbo Starlet pocket rockets)

My old Legacy GTB, 4WD, 2ltr boxer, twin turbo! on snow tyres it was incredible - we had a big snow dump (10/11 yrs ago?) and I had to go and collect daughter, I chugged up long hill with cars stopped, unmoveable, at weird angles and it just took it in its stride. 280hp made for a rapid car...
