So iv had the gear linkages and cable replaced with new, iv changed the oil to whatever Mercedes recommend which all cost me about £500 and IT STILL CRUNCHES! i guess i have an issue with the gearbox?

Sorry your right, it is 95bhp, my car checking app was wrong. 50% sounds like a great gain but is it to much? Would the van be able to handle it? Thanks

What is this special tool then? Where can I get one? Or is it just made of wire? My mechanic needs one ASAP. Thanks

Thanks guys, For a clean, Polish, black plastics brought back to life and front interior cleaned, it cost me £100 all in. I thought it was a fair price to be honest and especially for the result I got!

It will gain 47bhp onto of the 109bhp or whatever it has, If i go ahead with it il defiantly let you know how i get on with it.

A few weeks ago i had the Vito cleaned and polished! When i bought the van in November it had been badly polished by the dealer and there was swirl marks all over it. i didn't have time to do it myself so i got a local detailing guy (Supreme Detail) to do it for me and he did an ace job :)...

So I'm having the gear cable and linkages changed this week and I'm also having the gearbox oil replaced, not sure what oil I'm going to use! but fingers crossed all this sorts the crunching out!

Iv had a quote to remap my 109Cdi... £240 and it should achieve 47bhp and 100nms, not a and gain in my opinion!

Oh okay thanks, 150bhp does sound a lot! Id be happy with an extra 20-30bhp, hopefully someone else had done it?

I'm thinking about having my 109cdi remapped (when it's fixed!) Iv heard they can get them to around 150bhp and be more fuel efficient? Has anyone had any experience with remapping a Vito? Or specifically a 109cdi Many Thanks Arthur

My van is now in the garage, i think he said the issue is broken cable and I think he said sycro? I'm going to have him change the oil in the gearbox but I can't make my mind up as to what oil to use! My mechanic strongly recommends using whatever Mercedes specify... But a few of you guys...

So now my gearbox has had enough, stuck in 4th and can't select anything! gearstick is just floppy and won't go side to side! regretting buying a Mercedes...!

Im thinking about installing a reversing camera on my Vito, iv seen them online that hide nicely where the numberplate light is, and the screen is on the rear view mirror. Do mercedes sell anything like that? Whats the best aftermarket kit? How hard is it to fit? Thanks
