Hi milleplod, My exact same model has started doing this. It's as if the fan comes on at an engine temperature of 60 and cools it right down to 40. After 20 miles it was still 40 with engine fan whirring away, even for a good while after stopping the engine. It doesn't seem to do it all the time...

Any luck getting it sorted? My Glove box light only illuminates when the lid is half open and then goes off again when fully open. The fault is obviously at the actuating switch but I just can't see how you can access it.
