£30 ? That sounds too cheap? Fleabay has loads of used ones for between £50 and £120 - I've googled replacement as far as I can and it doesn't look like I'm going to enjoy doing it - good for the new car Bonding process though :D Jim

I've heard (but have no proof) that the pearlescent is easier to blend in when doing repairs - otherwise it's just a preference thing. Jim

Pearlescent has teeny weeny glass beads added to the paint, this caused weird light refraction hence you get a multicoloured paint effect (depending on which angle you view it from). Metallic has teeny weeny bits of reflective "stuff" added to the paint, hence light bounces off the relective...

Get the tracking checked, duff toe in angles would be a major contributor to tramlining. Rgds Jim

Mine died recently and within 2 weeks my wife was beating me senseless to get it fixed. I duly got chappy round who pronounced the valve gubbins well and truly dead, replacement of gubbins would be about £300 sir (whispers in my ear.....don't bother sir, go on E-Bay and get a new one for about...
