We have a B180cdi Sport DCT & yeah, they are fairly solid for the small family car that it is, butby no means harsh or uncomfortable. I can imagine older clientele not enjoying the ride though. I find our car far from economical, though 50 mpg is doable if driving like a saint

Hello! W210 E55 Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to the forum here, been around a few weeks just so thought I would introduce myself! I had been watching the forum for a bit of a future classic AMG, either a C43 or E55. After a few weeks obsessive hunting, I got myself a W210 E55 AMG facelift...

The reg has previously been on 2 written off Merc's, a C43 (Cat B) and a 190 (Cat C). Its currently showing on a red Porsche 944 on HPI, so you'd need the VIN of previous reg to investigate the status of the SL if you were thinking of buying it as it seems to have been put on it recently.

No, it's all good! Bought it blind from a guy outside London, had it picked up and delivered to me in NIreland, by a transport company, which took over a week. It arrived last Friday and I have been enjoying it every day since! I took a big gamble, but Well pleased with what I have got :)

I feel I may have been a bit premature in adding my name to the list. At this point, I have never even sat in an E55, but I do have fully paid invoice for one & a hole in my bank balance. As for the car, well, I'm hoping it's worth the wait... :)
