Just had the EGR mapped out. The cars done 100k in central London traffic. The air intake will be full of soot as with the butterfly valve I would suspect. I'd like to maximise performance and economy by maximising air flow.

Thanks. Is it possible to take off the silver bit of the EGR from above and use spray cleaner? Not sure how Possible or effective this would be.

Solved. It was the Aux battery that was dead, replaced and now no longer an issue.

Strange issue:- My 2015 E Class drives brilliantly and to all intents works perfectly. Over 1000 miles this week for instance. However on occasion the gearbox doesn't engage any gear from start up. Restart the car and after a couple of goes the car works perfectly again. Just done a code...

Thanks for your reply. So in essence if I've got the fuel pumps and ecu from the wrong car then although it'll run it'll be down on power which is what I'm experiencing. The engines just been rebuilt and I've been round and checked for vacuum leaks so this would seem to be the issue. At least...

Will the air box cover from a single intake air box fit a double intake air box? To swap over are there gaskets to the intake manifold? Thanks
