I can only find business leases around the £900 level for the ipace, who are offering them at £350, may just jump now at that rate.

    C350e owners club

I had a remap/rolling road from Celtic Tuning, from memory it came out at 347bhp and 312lb/ft, seems to keep up with most things. Never had any issue and has been MB serviced twice since it was done.

    Merc service on-line booking

I turned up at my online booked service appointment today, armed with the booking ref. Sorry sir we have no record of a booking, despite the £572 paid on the 9th May. Now rebooked on the 20th June. Mercedes customer services scratching their heads trying to find out why the system glitch. Morale...

    Northumbria police speeding clamp down

A lovely police motorcyclist motioned for me to slow down in Somerset on Saturday. A quick wave to acknowledge my over enthusiastic right foot and thanks and we both carried on our way.

I find gearbox is the cars weak point, it's easily confused, but then the car is a complicated mix of mechanicals so not surprising it has an odd foible.

Mine went in for a new front bumper after some car park clown ran into it. Part was on back order so went through two hire cars, a new e250d and a 435d. Apart from the gearbox in the BMW I would not take either over mine. You certainly miss the swiftness in the e250d. The BM handled better and...

C350e - strong petrol smell in cabin from cold

Mine has not but the other Directors car has. We swapped cars for a week, he didn't smell petrol in mine and I had a faint whiff in his. His was also in 3 times before Mercedes changed the fuel pipes (apparently) he hasn't moaned again.

    Great Value Dashcam

Not sure how it "sorts them" as video is as open to interpretation as verbal statements. Take the dash cam footage linked here, it's heading is "car forces way into lane", what I see is a driver choosing not to give way to someone indicating his wish to change lanes, why that extra 10ft was...

ME works flawlessly and Merc updates at service gave me the outside temp. Didn't ask for it and not something i have ever used and can't see that I ever will. Wind down the window, it tells you if it's cold outside........

Spot on, I will look to change in early 2021 unless subsequent budgets change this view. Would love to think there may be a Uk owned/manufactured car that fits the bill by then.

Mercedes-Benz C350e plug-in hybrid hardware issues (charging, battery, etc)

Never had an issue, BIK rate makes it cheap and now with a remap it goes even better than before. Stepping stone to a full EV (non Tesla) in 2 years, until then I just plan to enjoy this Jekyl and Hyde of a car.

Mercedes Me App - Pre Entry Climate Control

There is no separate heating/cooling options for pre entry, only what you left the climate control set too prior to exiting the car. If it's set at 22 and it's cooler than this it will heat, if it's set at 22 and it's warmer than this then it will cool.

Mercedes Me App - Pre Entry Climate Control

It heats or cools depending on the temp you selected prior to turning off the engine. It does not need to be plugged in to pre heat, but will obviously only work if you have have some charge in the battery if it isn't.
