    EQC Pre-entry Climate Control Question

Two different things, pre heat for comfort is simply the heated seats and car heater and if its not plugged in it will use battery. Pre heating the battery for quick charging is done via the system while driving automatically, when you set your sat nav to go to a charger. Just for the record...

    EQC Pre-entry Climate Control Question

Of course it will use the battery when not plugged in! But if you mean when it is plugged in, I think it uses mains power, well, it hasn't ever been a problem for me anyway, all this about you can't heat cars and don't leave lights on with an electric car is a load of tosh it hardly makes any...

    New Key needed 2015 SL400

Looks exactly the same..... anyway have done a little more digging. I was told initially by more than one "specialist" car key replacement company and main dealer that a 2015 SL400 (even giving the chassis number) had the new security system which means I have to use the main dealer for the...

    New Key needed 2015 SL400

I cant see anything in the plastic end at all; all the gubbins is sticking out of the rest of the key which is why I'm confused it wont work!

    New Key needed 2015 SL400

The square end that fits into the car dash has snapped cleanly off, it actually clips back together but still won't work so I'm a little baffled as to why.

    New Key needed 2015 SL400

So.... some how I managed to break my key for the SL yesterday, luckily I was in the local petrol station, so my wife got a lift home to retrieve the spare key and all was sorted. A new one from MB re programmed etc is £333. I've tried one of the services who say they can do it cheaper but...

    Land Rover Defender

Yep loads of them round here, the more you get into the Dales the more there are of them, I had a look at our builders they are nice I must admit, very tempted when I retire "eventually" and the company car goes.

Sportscars in the park SCITP Newby Hall 5th May 2024

This is not far from me and a few of us from the village were going to go, but I've now had to change my trip to the Pau Classic in France so that I'm back for work by 27th. I was going via Portsmouth/Santander spend a few days in the Picos onto Pau for the weekend then slowly work my way back...

New here with a SLK 350 (Sunny Yorkshire)

Sorry its just me being Doh! I was fooled by your information which says you have a 2003 SL350. Its clearly neither a 2003 SL or SLK I keep forgetting how close the "new" SLK/SLC looks to the SL, so much so when passing one on the road its really difficult to decide if its an SL or SLK/SLC

New here with a SLK 350 (Sunny Yorkshire)

That's why I'm confused it looks more like a 2003 SL350 with a new grill to me, nothing like a 2003 SLK it had the slopy front end and no grills in the bonnet or side of wings. And those running lights are the same as on my SL400 so nothing like a SLK. OK I've just realised its a modern SLK...
