I've had my '93 E220 for just over two years now and I'm finding it great as a day to day car. It's good on fuel for the size of the car - I reckon I can hit late 30's mpg on a decent run without too much effort. It all really depends on your driving style I suppose. It has more than enough...

That's a nice looking 124 coupe. Nice colour scheme. I'd just be a bit concerned as to why it has facelift bits on a '91 car but it could be something quite innocent I suppose.

Is that not the ribbed velour interior? If so it's quite a rare and expensive option isn't it?

All facelift bonnets are the same - coupe, saloon, cabrio or estate. A pre facelift bonnet will fit you car but facelift headlights have scalloped inner edges to suit the facelift bonnet. If you want to keep it simple then go for a facelift style bonnet.

Indeed it is! It's funny you should post up a picture of your car (which is very nice by the way) as I have a pic of an identical car on my PC. I've been contemplating adding orange indicators and painting the bumpstrips on the front and rear in black or very dark grey. I'm still pondering...
