    GLS X166 Android upgrade

Interesting. I'm not sure if it's just me but your pictures (at least that's what I assume they are) are just showing as lines of data/text. No images at all. IGNORE THIS - must be me. They've suddenly come through. Sorry.

Any recommendations near Warminster? (South Wiltshire)

Not in your area I know but worth a shout-out for Richard at Hamilton Auto Tech (Home - Hamilton Auto Tech ) in Corfe Mullen. Mercedes trained and a very nice and knowledgable guy. Home workshop is fully equipped and he has a courtesy car if required. (If you wait then his wife will bring you...

Code Reader For W204 Becker Cradle Issues?

Personally speaking I always found my stand-alone TomTom sat nav was miles better than the Becker.

    New C Class pricing

Forgive me. I didn't know there was a set number of posts I had to make before I could comment about the Mercedes warranty policy. I'll try and do better next time.

    New C Class pricing

If the quality is so good then why is the warranty only 3 years?

    Time to win the lottery....

If I were going to pay that money (and I'm not planning to!!) then I'd expect Mercedes to stand behind their quality and give me a 7 year warranty at least. Funny how the cheaper brands are prepared to do that, but not Mercedes.

W213 COMAND online map update stuck on 66%

I've got rid of my S213 now, but the navigation system is done by Becker, and in my experience of them 3 years is not unusual. I holiday in France a lot and often found that the roads I had been travelling down for 3+ years didn't appear in the navigation. It's quite funny when you look at the...

    Winter wheels

If I remember correctly, you have the S213 E-Class? If so then they should fit. Alloy Wheels Direct is a good site for getting a correct match: 19" Mercedes 6 Spoke wheels in 7X44 High Sheen with Tremolite Metallic - Alloy Wheels Direct (5855470)

    Winter wheels

Sorry for the late reply - for some reason I didn't get notified and only just seen the message. Yes, my wheels are still available. As you say, you do not have to have staggered wheels, and mine are from MB and approved for the car. Let me know if you want any more info.

[SOLD] Alloy wheels (MB) and winter tyres (Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3)

These are still available thanks to a number of time wasters over the last year (not from this forum!): Full set of Mercedes winter wheels for S213 (may fit W213 and other models) purchased new by me in 2017 The wheels and tryes cost almost £1900 and are a square setup, so all of the wheels...

W213 Run Flat tyres on 20" wheels

I did buy some 19" winter wheels and tyres (still runflats) and that improved the ride quite noticeably. Even though I was impressed with the 20" ride, albeit a bit hard in my view, I enjoyed the 19" winter ride much more. I've now downsized to an A-Class which, with smaller wheels/tyres, is an...

Missing DAB stations in my car

I had a similar experience with my W204. It started of intermittent and then the Sat Nav also started to not know where I was. Turned out to be the aerial at fault. Replacing that brought everything back.

A180d always pulling away in 1st gear

Interesting. I had the 9g in my S213 and that always started off in 2nd (in Comfort).

A180d always pulling away in 1st gear

In start/stop mode it's less likely to do it. It's more noticeable when pulling off from a junction when just covering the brake (hold function not active)
