After disconnecting my flat battery to give it a good charge, i'm having problems reprogramming the windows. I have got them to perform the basics i.e up and down, but i cannot get the one touch feature to work (second press on the switch up or down). Where am i going wrong?

I had a similar problem with my C43 and discoverd the problem to be the rear tyre profile was 45mm as opposed to factory fit 40mm. The cruse can also be effeced by incorrect tyre pressures (which should be indicated on the inside of the fuel filler flap). I think it's to do with the speed...

Exhaust manifold seems plausable. The noise has been there for months but has been much louder this morning. Not any noticable performance loss. Looks like another trip to the indy is on the cards.:wallbash:

Just had another look at the cats. The small NSF unit is rattling when you give it a tap with a screwdriver. It doesn't appear to rattle when driving. Could this be generating the sort of noise i'm hearing?

The title says it all. The car sounds like a small steam train wher you ure under any sort of acceleration. The exhaust has been checked from end to end and there is no sign of any air leaks, but when you start driving it makes a chuffing type of noise all through the rev range. I suspect that...

N/S/F pre cat is rattling like a rattly thing (part no 2024900620) and needs to be replaced. As i'm fitting this to a C43, is this part specific to the V8, or would the cat from a smaller engined w202 do the same job?

I saw that, but they looked like 18" as opposed to the standard 17" items. Was a bigger wheel diameter an option towards the end of the production run or are they E55 items? Also see the after marked pedal covers. Not keen on those.

Had codes read at my local Indy today and nothing showing up. The tech suggested the Crank Position Sensor so that's what i'm going with. Nobody said running a 10 year old C43 was going to be cheap! Thanks for your help and suggestions guys........again. Until next time. ;)

Update - Once engine temperature reaches 80 degrees it stalls (thankfully only when sitting still) then won't start again until it cools slightly. It's really frustrating when you generate your own traffic jam!
