the clicking noise is comming from the right hand side near to the front of the engine block as you stand and look at it, almost between the engine and the water bottle for the windscreen wash. i could try recording it and e-mailing a link, i'll try that when i get back from work tonight...

ok, thanks for that. i am in dalkeith just outside edinburgh. i'll check to see if there is a spark, and put some more petrol in tomorrow and see if that helps, the fuel gauge is reading 13 miles left but i suppose just running it stationery could give a false reading. thanks again Rob

hi, after taking advise from the forum i got myself a fault code reader. i have managed to replace all of my plugs now, all plugs where very hard to get out, all very poor condition, i'll post a photo later to show how bad they were. after that i thought all i had to do was plug in the code...
