After a few years away... Just maybe... C280 4Matic Avantgarde

It's been a while since I've been behind the wheel of a Mercedes and a lot has changed since I last owned one. So this weekend I'm off to checkout this. 2007 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 3.0L AVANTGARDE - Autopark Superstore Mileage doesn't seem to bad and seems very well equipped. Price...

    R class discontinued

The GL seems very popular here in Canada. I've not seen many R's about. Although I did check a few out on autotrader as they were quite insurance friendly and available for reasonable money. I just can't wrap my head around the looks. Keeping my eye out for a good W203 4matic instead.

Poll - Do you use winter tyres?

Never used them before but now I'm living in Canada and having used them last winter I can see the appeal and benefits of them. In some provinces here it is mandatory but insurance discounts are normally given if you use them. The cars that were usually stuck didn't have winter tyres. I...

    New CLA

That's what caught my eye on the. The price was $29900 if I recall. Of course here in Canada it's not quite so cheap at $33900 CAD although with the equipment level I would like it was in the $40k region. One I'm going to keep my eye on but in the mean time i'm looking out for a good C280...

    New CLA

Spotted an ad for these on TV the other night. I thought the pricing seemed very fair for what you are getting. Will be interesting to see what the depreciation is like.

Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

One that made me smile the other day on the way home from work not far from Toronto was BOLO*2U on an orange Audi TT Couldn't get a picture as I was on my bike at the time.

Clean and Tidy C43 AMG Est

Wow. talk about a blast from the past. I still think about this car. Yes Jay you had it off me in 06. Drove me down to a bargain price if I recall. Although at the time the gearbox was slipping when pushed hard from 2nd to 3rd if you recall. I originally bought it from a guy in Edinburgh. The...

    A taxing question....

What I was saying is that I am not the registered keeper of the car but the insurance will be in my name. All it was was that when I bought the car the dealer actually put me down as a dealer. I was going to Tax it and give the car to my sister once it was cleaned up MOT etc. This meant there...

    A taxing question....

Can I tax a car if I am not the registered keeper? Just don't want to look a fool when I go to the post office tomorrow. I do hold an insurance policy for this vehicle.

    any share traders here ?

CFD's just seem like far too much risk. Why do it if you can't afford it. In my view you are much better off just buying the underlying share. You know exactly where you stand then. Also CFD's are much better suited to short term trades because of commission charges. With CFD's you do have the...
