Wow I remember this debacle. Sorry to bring up a dead thread but does anyone know where the car ended up or if its still about? I miss it.

For that price I just hope he's repaired the cracked exhaust header, fixed the inflating seats and got the radio working. Other than that the car is great, as you can see from my original description he's using.

Was my old car, sold it to him about 4 months ago for £4400? i think? cant really remember. Spent thousands on it, tons of receipts and history. The funny thing is he then demanded about £1000 to pay for 'repairs' that he apparently had to have carried out, e.g the car was totally unroad worthy...

Yes thats my car. I took it down as the girlfriend done the advert for me but didn't know anything about the engine conversion. Thought it was getting a lot of attention. So when I get back on Saturday il redo it and put it back up.

I had the stainless steel ones and now one side has cracked. Just seen a few on us and german ebay that don't seem too expensive.

Just standard ones. Mine have cracked and you tend to see a few on german and us ebays.

Sorry if this is a stupid question or been answered but would exhaust headers from a left hand drive c43 fit a right hand drive car?

This was the first thing they said it could be when they took the car but apparently every thing was fine. It sounds like whatever it is that clunks, then clunks again and again like something is loose and swinging about.

I was geting a loud metalalic sounding knock coming from the front of the car when going over bumps and changing inclines in roads. When checked out i was told the suspension looks fine but the engine is moving around on the mounts quite alot so this was more than likely causing the problem...

C43 bumper for sale, few scratches, would probably need a re spray, cracked fog light lens. Bought as a replacement but got a new one on insurance. Message me an email for pictures.

Stopped by the garage today as it started to do it again and it's been diagnosed as a failing water pump so not too bad I suppose.

Iv started hearing a strange metally knocking noise coming from my car every now and them, seems to be once its warmed up after a run. It seems to be coming from the drivers side. I recently had a specialist look at it whilst being serviced but they couldnt hear anything so nothing else was done...

Custom made sub and amp boot hide for a w202. Same one Alps had in his C36. Should be a direct fit for a pre facelift 202. could be cut and modified to fit a facelift version easily i imagine if you are that way inclined with a jigsaw. Pick up preferably from EN11, Contact me for more details...

Didn't realise it does have fog lights although one of them has a small crack in the corner.

Bit of an update, after serveral phone calls consisting of telling me the offer is fair and based on a guide, then claiming id never sent any proof through, they finally got the engineer to look at it again and give me a ring. He told me he had based the price on glass guide and my car being...

They never even rung me, I just got the cheque in the post so I got on the phone to my insurance who put me through to the others
