The correct word is creaking, not rattle. I have been told it is probably moisture in the bearings. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

My W124 has started to have a rattle that seems to be coming from the driver side from suspension. Could anyone tell me what could this be? The car is a W124 E280 1995. just 71,000 miles from new.
