    Another battery killer is bluetooth (which is easily knocked on when swiping control centre up/down). I've heard mixed reports about iOS 7.1 being better/worse for battery performance - but what's being described here does sound like something wider is awry.

    *** - thanks. Been driving my wife's automatic hatchback for last couple of years. Was OK with it on test drive, albeit a significant size differential! Will be careful with RWD - no experience of that per se.
