    Hi speed vibration

I hope someone can help me here. My car vibrates heavily at 150-160 km. Faster or slower than that it is smooth. Engine mounts, transmission mount and flex discs(both front and rear) are replaced with original parts from the dealer. Checked the tire balances(tires were also replaced in middle...

    Mercedes MP3 Player MP40

I have replaced problematic CD changer with MP3 player and have been using it for a few months. Recently I noticed a problem; some songs freeze the machine and I have to turn off the head unit, take the memory card out and in again and re-start the head unit to start the player again. And some...

Whenever I start the car fan engages for about a minute then disangages. I hear the engine roaring loudly till 2000 rpm in the morning with a cold start and if I park the car and stop the engine with running temparature and start it again after sometime. Is this normal???

    Whhoshing noise

Seems that it is not a pipe. I went out for lunch; 6 miles drive and there was no noice. Finished lunch and started the car about 45 min later and the noise was there again and after 1 min it was gone and now it is very quiet. I think it is because of the swirl flaps or the motor which can...

    Whhoshing noise

It is like coming from the heater fan area. I read on one of the threads that it can be because of a leak on the pipe from intercooler to EGR . But if this is the reason should it not leave a fault code??? Could there be another reason???

    What is this pipe for?

This morning I drove 10 min at 4000 rpm which is normally enough to see some oil leak and not even a sign of a leak. Seems like the problem is solved...

    What is this pipe for?

I probably found the fault; the part on the attached photo is called oil separator. Its function is to separate the oil from the engine ventilation by the filter inside. It seems that the filter is filled and therefore it can no longer separate the oil. I hope that I am right and the problem...

    What is this pipe for?

There is a little oil leak on the pipe going into the turbo from the engine as attached photo. It is not sealed, I could easily take it off when the engine was running; only oil vapor comes out of the pipe like it is breather pipe, not oil with pressure. I assume this oil vapour is leaking but...

    Fuel consumption

I agree, in city I dont drive agressive and can get an avarage of 40mpg and I can get the same in highway with my normal driving; around 110-130 km/h(75-80 miles/h. I ignore consumption when I drive agressive and at high speeds because in this case performance is what you need not economy...
