tried that mate, the car is a V plate and has just hit the 70k mark without trouble......then this! it won't even start, been told it's going to cost £800 by road range (no they are not touching the car from their previous results!) thanks anyway. :(

you have to unbolt the wing scott, undo the wings top bolts, and pull back gently,(it's plastic) then undo the nuts holding in the light, don't get mad if the light won't come out first time (took me ages) you have to remove the complete light to replace the lamp unless you have very small...

yep it's the bulb alright, i had the same problem on my a class, it's very fiddley to change and need most of the dash removing, :o

:mad: hi, has anyone had the problem with semi auto gears (a class 170 cdi) i got an 'F' on the dashboard (must mean fault!) and the car refused to go into gear...tried again and worked ok, got a mile down the road went to change gear and the 'F' came on the dashboard again (no gears) so...

yeah he also let his apprentice loose on my merc who forgot put the oil back in my car (gave us an apology and complimentary service though!) but still 100% better than road range!
