Thanks whitenemesis. Not sure exactly what leather it is. The car is a 2005 c class coupe. Quite a modern leather I believe, matte black with an extremely fine grain.

Hiya. I had the same problem. An Aux socket was optional in the side of the glove box so check there. Mine didn't have this so I bought the cable £25 from the dealers but installed it in the centre console for easier access. See picture (hopefully). Hope this helps. Sam
