Hi all, not such a regular poster on here sine I moved to the Volvo... However, things look to be changing as the OH is now hankering after a E320 CDi.. Anyway, I recently purchased two of these kits, as pictured below: Turns out the "friend" who asked me to order one for him, didn't...

FS: SnapOn Diagnostic Scanner - FULL KIT & ACCESSORIES!

Due to upgrading, I am selling my trusty SnapOn MT2500 Diagnostic Scanner Much more than a generic code reader, it also does "activations" so allows you to test operation of relays, valves modules and more - also does things like code TDCi injectors, and much more. Comes with Vehicle...

    Sat Nav Advice

Well I only have a 2.8" screen on my N96... But the phone, and the software did cost me the princely sum of £0.00... And I have TomTom Traffic, so am a happy bunny.... Mike

Engine vibration/out of balance at 1400RPM?

Prob with mine is, apart from it being common rail - The lift pump is in the tank, and the filter is under the car, so if I connected it to the flow and return on the high pressure pump, it prob wouldn't start as it has a sensor for fuel supply pressure to the HP pump... Mike

Engine vibration/out of balance at 1400RPM?

Been looking at something like that Andy (It's Mike here from Vegoil Forum) Just wondering how to "plumb" it into my commo rail on the Volvo - Mind you, looks like I'll be defecting back to here if I get my E320Cdi V6 Estate! Mike

    Towbar / Parking Sensor Problem

If the socket protrudes into being "visible" then it will be detected by the sensors... Had this prob with a detachable on our Galaxy a few years back - On our XC90, the factory fit detachable has an RF proximity chip in the towball part, that "tells" the ECU it is fitted, it then reduces the...

    Volvo S40 ordered today.....

Friend of mine (currently X5 3.0 driver) has just put a deposit on an 09 delivery miles S40 2.0D SE Auto with a few options, for £14995 all in, which was about £7k off list - car has 42 miles on it! Picking it up Sat, so I'll be having a spin in it then!! I do like the look of them, although a...

    Looks like I'm "coming back"

No, it's early termination - I am pretty up on the contractual side of HP agreements, I was a Finance manager for a large multi franchise dealership for 5 years.... One of my fave tricks to swing a deal was early termination, esp where they had negative equity on the swapper! Wipes it out in one...

    Looks like I'm "coming back"

IF it's a conditional sale agreement (ie HP) and not a personal loan or unsecured loan, then under the consumer credit act, once you have paid one third of the total amount payable under the agreement (includes deposit/px and interest) then, provided you have taken reasonable care of the...

    E320 CDI Police Owned

Have you watched "traffic Cops" or the likes lately - they have no hesitation in doing 70mph over speed bumps! God knows what stresses that puts on the unseen welds and seams in the bodywork, never mind the "replaceable" bits... Mike

    Autotrader adverts

What makes me laugh, is Autotrader are aware it's a scam, and they even have a section on how to spot them.... BUT they still take the money and run the ad!!! Surely this only encourages them! Mike

Traffic Police: Why do they generally drive over the speed limit with no lights?

Have to agree, that doing an indicated 85mph on the motorway won't get you nicked or pulled - My speedo is pretty accurate and indicates 86mph at a GPS speed of 85mph. I thought the ACPO giuidelines were "Limit plus 10% plus 3.5mph" the 3.5mph to allow for speedo error at low speeds... So...

    Sat Nav Advice

Since my TTGo 910 was stolen in a smash and grab at the traffic lights a couple of years ago (I was in my van) I have only used TT on my mobile - N95, N95 8gb and now N96 16gb - Have to say, I prefer it, for a couple of reasons: Firstly, I always have my phone, and therefore my sat nav with me...

    E320 CDI Police Owned

1 owner - but HOW MANY drivers??? Plus, it'll have been on the road pretty much 24/7, is that mileage certified, as it will have had at least one speedo change in it's life - If it now doesn't have a calibrated speedo, it's a fair bet it's been swapped back to the original... In which case it...

    Looks like I'm "coming back"

Well after almost 2 years of pretty much fault free motoring in the XC90, apart form an £1800 radio module.... and lots of tyres.... I am now looking to change cars, and specifically I REALLY fancy an E320 Avantgarde Estate with the 7 seater option, preferably one of the V6 ones... The Volvo...
