Best - 35mpg (~410 miles) Worst - 23mpg I find that driving style doesn't really affect mpg (I tried hypermiling / driving slow for a tank and it was a waste of time, quite literally!) but the difference between town and motorway makes a big difference. Even at 'motorway cruising speeds'...

I paid £86 for a condenser off the net and fitted it myself. Took me about 4hrs total. Rad had to be moved a bit but didn't need to come out. You will likely need 'o'rings as mine didn't come with any. Got it re-gassed for free today :bannana:

Mine used to wobble (the tensioner) but it turned out the water pump was shot.... Mines a C240, 98, 126k miles...

Looking at the bottom pic it doesn't seem to me like the wheels are staggered.... In which case the 225/40/18 might be the best way to go.

Thought I'd share my experience at 124 Works on Monday. I went in to get an oil leak fixed and a misfire looked at on my C240. Oil leak was fixed (properly this time, unlike the previous cr**py job by the local stealership). 300 miles later and not a drop has leaked out. Misfire diagnosed...
