What is your aim, to remove imperfections or to get a shine? We use 3M green top bottle for most imperfections and the blue top for shine in most cases.

From what I know there are only the classical and the AMG. However all the AMG are supposed to be based on the avantgarde version as a basis. Btw you can recognise these earlier avantgardes models by a bluish tint on the windows

Well it depends on what kind of dirt you want it to dissolve. A reputable wash station should know when and what to use depending on what are needed in a specific case. If you have tar spots you need to use some kind of petroleum based product since an alkali product doesn't work at all on that...

Window cleaner and a microfiber cloth will do it for you. Beware of using any strong solvent types of liquids since they can make the plastics grey and dull

Just put some wax on it. This will give it a even higher gloss and then you can use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe off any dust.
