    Rear sam problem on w211

Yes you do. It’s best to find a specialist for this, as the SAM unit may have minor changes from pre-facelift to facelift. Or you can try copy the code from your old SAM to the new one.

    W212 coolant leak

Pressure test your coolant system. I had a small leak from one of my connected hoses to the radiator, it only showed up when the system was under pressure. I was losing coolant slowly over time. I must have loosened the connection when I previously worked on my car.

Replacement Keys Required for 2005 S Class and 2009 B Class

On a school run I saw one guy (parent) who worked as an auto car specialist. Out of interest I asked how much is a key for a 2008 A class, I was quoted £175. I hope this helps as a guide price.

    Squeaky folding mirror S / W211 ?

The film solution is alright but still squeaked a little, I got them from MB. But I hate the look of the pre-facelift wing mirrors, so changed them out for the facelift ones.

E55 W211 project - the fun vs frustration balance

If the codes are not permanent, don’t worry about them, it’s just an FYI. The wing mirror should be a easy fix… broken wires because of the folding in/out.

Advice for removing CLS 219 front bumper for parking sensors repair?

Ah cool. Then Phil will need to remove the torx screw before attempting to move the bracket. Once the torx screw is out, push a flat head screwdriver inside the bracket and push the screwdriver handle towards the engine, it will open up the bracket… opening about 4-5 CM is fine. Finally, grab...

    Is Tyre Sealant worth using?

Awesome… I haven’t had a flat for years but I want to avoid the drama about garages not liking sealant kit. NJSS… These plug kits are only for emergencies, just to get the car to a garage for a true repair or replacement.

R230 SL350 Air Con condenser replacement?

Job done. A fair bit of work involved, the V8 has a lot of parts in the the way. So front bumper had to be removed and 2 other small radiators had to be loosened and put to the side to allow room for the condenser to drop out. Taking the top panel off helped as well, it allows for more wiggle...
