Are the adjusters removable and reusable???

Hi, I have purchased shoes from ECP, new shoes arrived without brake adjusters on them. Does anyone know which shoes will fit?? The ones that I ordered are 103220028.

I have a 2005 C200 W203, 17 inch alloys and sports pack fitted. Does anyone know what front shock absorbers I need for this car? Part numbers and where to get them would be nice too!! If I put my registration number into ECP, will they have the relevant information on parts required? Many thanks.

Do the pins look familiar to you??? They are definitely the wrong type.

I think my only remaining option is to cut the pin flush with the caliper, using a dremel, then use a centre punch to try and get a decent strike at it!!

I have a long (6 inch) brass drift, I am going to give that a try tomorrow. Is there any way I can split the caliper??

Thanks to your previous answers about new pads, discs and fitting kits. I managed to complete one side of the car tiday, however, on the other side, both pins are stuck tight at the head end, I managed to cut off most of pin but have about 2-3mm sticking out!! Can I put a little bit of heat...

The brake pad part number is A004420520 41. Does anyone know what the equivalent non MB pad would be ??? I spoke to MB and asked how to remove the pins, they said just pull them out. I said that they had to be pin punched out, he said he just asked a passing mechanic. Not very helpful...

Which side do you punch?? I see looking in from the outer side the pins are pointed!!

Hi, I have a 2005 C200 with sports pack fitted, does anyone know what brake pads I require for this type of caliper (pictured)??? Do I require a 'special' pin punch to knock out the stainless steel retaining pins?? Could anyone supply a picture of the brake pad required so I can get the correct...

Does anyone know what type of brake pads this caliper takes, photos if possible, do I need a special pin punch to remove the caliper pins?? Also what type of discs would be required for this caliper.

Another question!! Are the fan and ECU one part? I have had a look and there is plenty of room to get the fan out, where are the fixings? I also had a look at the socket for the fan, the cables seem fixed in tight enough.

Also, I had the car running outside the house this morning and took it up to 100 degrees C, the radiator fan never cut in, what temperature should it cut in?? Sorry for so many questions!!

Can I ask, why is the fault code referring to the air conditioning? Can an independent garage do a star test?
