Or just forget all about that and buy using your head. Ask to see all the history and if it has been restored the photo album. What good will a paint depth gauge do you? To see if it has had a skim of filler? Wow, 99% of restored cars have that, it's how you achieve the desired finish...

So I have found a ml270 that is just what I'm after apart from it only has half leather!! I thought they all had full!! Anyway, my question is, how much should I expect to pay for a set of leather seats in black and is it a simple job to swap over?

Sadly approved repair centre means that they are willing to do the work at a low labour rate, it's a battle against the bodyshops to get company/insurance approval status cause its all down to the prices.

I know mate but i seriously cant spend that amount on the ml, i have to be tough. I think the reason i really liked the 6.5k one was that is was the special edition one that tbh i dont need!! If this one drives as well then that will do for me! What does surprise me is its only half leather!!!
