Checked and mines version 8 2013, so it looks like it's never been updated

Getting mine updated next Monday and they are going to update firmware at same time should it need it they said, how would I check what version I have anyway

It has the SD slot, built in sat nav and says "don't let COMMAND distract you " so i guess it's ntg4.7 will see what happens when the dealership sets it up on Monday

The car was registered Sept 2013, how would I tell if it was command online or ntg4.5or 4.7

That's a very helpful post, I do most work on my CL myself so don't see this as a major issue, my fishing and friend of many years used to work for Mercedes in spares, and now works for a Mercedes Indy so I'll get them to do the oil changes for the gearboxes ..... Not in a rush so...
