Hi All, Just as an update. The problem was with belt tensioner and pulley system. Complete tensioner replaced. The car has been repaired by MB Service Centre Mansfield. Would highly recommend. Thanks for reading

I've got A180 CDI 57 50k miles 2.0D manual, pleasure to drive and spacious inside, but very noisy when on idle especially when cold engine and it looks like most of them have this problem.

Thanks BlackC55 The noise is like something would rattle, it's not a squeaky, scratchy sound, but even the lightest acceleration makes all fine. I'm disappointed with MB of Derby that they didn't recognize anything or the office man didn't tell anything to technicians.
