The Pump can be checked via Star and the control module can be reset without replacing via Developer Mode

sounds like this could have been caught in a flood as like next door chap chrysler 300 it filled with river water and he didnt do nothing, every time he comes home the car is full condensation so my advise is to look for another

SBC will time out at 300,00 push's and is controlled/ programmed by the module which can be reset using Developer mode

Walk away as these are a money pit and unless you are commited dont even think about it !

They can be hard to remove if they have not for some time but you can drift them out with a set of punches machine mart or halfords sell them, just select the correct hole size then tap the end with a hammer you will not damage the pins as they are hardened

Sorry but you need to get the Green Filters they are the best and have them fitted to my CLK 430 plus a clk 55 air box, what an improvement !
