Ten easy ways to drive down your petrol costs

Is it ok to use max load pressures, when there is usually only me in the car?

    My W124 Works experience

Glad all this has been resolved, and that you 2 can at least shake hands next time you're both at a GTG. KLP you should be commended for not going off on one, and showing a good level of decorum (excuse my spelling there) :)

    Longest period without eating?

I think I was 20/21 at the time. I can't have had tonsillitis that bad as I didn't forget things :D I was really feverish for a few days, obviously throat was mega sore and tonsils covered in white spots.

    Longest period without eating?

5 days when I had tonsillitis. Lost about half a stone, but I was barely 9 stone at the time. I could just about manage some ice cream now and again.

    Damaged Alloys

I had a set of 19" wheels once on a Mk4 Golf GTi, and they suffered. The round had a flat spot in them where I must have hit a pot hole, and on one maybe 2 occasions it was almost impossible to not curb them. Your heart sinks

    Knock knock

I just need to get it booked in. What would I be looking at as rough repair cost? It's just so annoying that nobody could find a problem with it in the past. There was no noise, but I've always noticed this annoying rumble/vibration that doesn't make any noise and makes the car feel a bit...

    Rude cyclists

I always remember when I had not long passed my test, and a cyclist blocked the road so I couldn't pass. It was around Christmas, and my Dad in the passenger seat had put a few beers away earlier in the day. He had a pop at the cyclist, who gave the international coffee bean sign. It was all I...

    Civic i-CTDI

With regards to the noise, I found it pretty quite and not like a diesel at all. I did think the engine noise was a little tinny though and the turbo made it sound more powerful than it is. As far as the rear wiper goes, I don't have one on my coupe anyway so I'll not miss it. The boot was...

Review: Meguiars G220 240volt Polisher vs Porter Cable

I would get more than 2, otherwise you'll be mixing products on the pads. Which pads do you have? I only have 3 of the Sonus SFX pads at the moment, but plan on getting some Lake Country I think, and I'm sure I've seen those for about £8 a pop. If I find them, I'll post a link.

    Civic i-CTDI

I had a quick test drive of one yesterday, and I can say I'm pretty impressed with it. My future Sister-in-Law works at a Honda dealer, and she arrived in one yesterday, so if course it was rude not to take it for a test :D The ride is very stable, gear change is very good, I would say gearbox...

poor fuel economy on E320 CDI

Is that the Auxiliary heater or the Heater Booster? I've left mine on Automatic at the moment, but I'm sure there is an option to turn it Off and also Air-Con off. What does the last one mean? Does it mean Air-Con is disabled?
