The tether perished so I've bought another filler cap from Mercedes, no idea why they didn't fit it during the service but that's another issue. How do you remove the tether from the filler door, I've put a pair of pliers around it but it just split the plastic? I suspect it's just a case of...

Never had an issue with our C63 and speed bumps, in fact never even think about it. However I have to plan any journey in my weekend toy to avoid speed bumps.

That strikes me a hell of a lot of cash for a CAT C car. If it were me I'd be hunting a completely standard UK car than a Japanese import. I was only looking at them on a whim, I'm currently deciding between a Lotus 2-Eleven and a new Exige.

The official c63 winter wheel package comprises the same size wheels front to back. From Mercedes last year I paid about £2,200 including tyres. I'll dig out the invoice if you're interested in the exact prices and wheel/tyre size
