OP, remember the oil temp gauge is engine oil, not gearbox oil, the two are not related, chances are on a track the gearbox oil is much more abnormal than the engine oil. Autos generate a lot of heat due to their inefficiency. Although my last BMW would limp at 137degc, but it ran at 110 to 115...
