Hi folks,just had the old girl in for a service at my local garage, mechanic said car is fine generally for age,however rear bushes and brake pipes have seen better days,he stated he has to drop subframe to deal with these issues but couldnt really give a price and keep me notified as he goes...

just a quick question do give the car a bit of acceleration before changing gear like up to 3000 revs or do you drive a bit more sparingly like for good mpg,ive commented that mine lacks a bit of umph but maybe im not revving it high enough before changing gear,look forward to your comment.

hi guys,just ordered several new fuel pipes for my e300 td still got the old clear ones have been advised to change them before winter,could a basic knowledge person change them or is a mechanic better off doing it,cheers.

I had very similar problem but lumpy gear change try transmission oil and filter change se how you go can't hurt it,good luck.
