Bear in mind that i live in Central London, my average trip readout is 17.1mpg over 17,000 odd miles. That includes some motorway driving and A roads.

Have the same fault in my 55. Waste of time and money getting it fixed,trust me ive had it done twice in a year.

Its something i've had a problem with for a while. I own a CLK 55 Cab and often have problem with the roof. Only yesterday i had to have the gas struts that hold the roof compartment in the boot replaced as they lost all ridgidity.

I have a cabrio A209 CLK 55 AMG, although i love the sound of the car and the way it goes, leaving the engine out of it, i would say that the cabin suffers from too many squeeks and rattles. That aside, the best looking car in it class. IMO. Its also for sale if your interested.

Hi Guys, I have a 2003, 209 CLK 55 AMG Cab that is on 26,000 miles and in need of a Service A as well as a new set of pads. I have called an independant in W11 and they reckon on £315 for the service plus, £70 for the pads and £16 for a pair of new sensors. Plus 2 hours labour at £75 p/h...

Have a CLK 55 AMG and i don't think the Bose is that great.
