I feel sorry for the OP, what is it with MB's attitude to customer retention? They've lost my custom for a while after the unprofessionalism displayed during my GLC wiring loom fault.

I'd say keep up the good work everyone, one of the most informative, interesting and supportive groups for the MB marque. Sure there's the occasional disgruntled misfit, but they probably don't play well with others anyway #shrug.

I know nothing about these cars, but is that bonnet to bumper shut line correct? The bonnet has two adjustable catches, one each side; the left one needs screwing down a touch.

A great feature is a control that pinches or narrows the lumbar pad around your back, plus the lumbar adjustment, although I appear to have minimal spinal curvature. If you're going to do this then seriously consider the facelift (2014 on) front and rear bumpers with false vents, look so much better imho.

I dare say you're right, dryce; perhaps after a few years of BMW ownership I'll return to the fold. The CLS invented the grand coupe, but of the current crop, only the GT4C and 8 series GC are lookers, imho. And the GT4C is a little out of my bracket..
