Just had a condition check done on my C250d Coupe at Mercedes Teesside, whilst they were doing some warranty work on it and was quoted £100 by them to replace the wiper blades.

Hmm so what wind speed/ air resistance do the manufacturers dial into their rolling roads as very few people seem to be able to achieve the mpg figures claimed by them

Try riding a push into the wind then ride with the wind behind you you use a lot more energy riding into the wind so you burn up more fuel its the same with a car wind increases the load on the car and decreases your mpg

I agree with you it does seem a lot ... Quantum have quote similar gains to me for 1/2 the price and are a large company so should be reputable. DMS say they give a 3 year warranty I think you are paying for it in the price

I had one of the new A class (while my car was in for service work) with one of these i-pad type devices in it and it looked like a cheap last minute after thought, spoilt the interior of the car imho

When I've fitted Eibach pro springs to my m sport they quoted 35mm but only dropped it 20mm due to it being a sport model not a standard car. Look in the description for springs it may say in there if the model of car affects the amount they lower the car.

Hi only had my 350 CDI for a couple of months (my 1st diesel ) and most of the time it's very quite for a diesel but a couple of times it has been noisey dont know why ... oh and yes I have being pressing the go pedal on all of these occasions :eek:

I had one of these for my 2010 (60 reg) W204 saloon sport and had to return it as the bonnet would not shut properly on one side. They refunded my money okay but told me the same ie mine was the 1st one they had with any problems with the fit . Was really disappointed as it looked great on...

I got a body shop to strip my original grill down and spray it piano black then refit the chrome bits back on , looks a lot better now :thumb:

Having driven a rear wheel drive car with and without winter tyres on imho they make quite a difference in cold weather both in the wet and in snow (one journey was a 300 mile drive from Aberdeen to Teesside in the snow we had in 2012)

I use snow foam as a pre wash especially when there's been a lot of spray on the roads. I rinse the car, snow foam it , rinse it again , hand wash it using two buckets , rinse again and then hand dry it . Takes a bit of time but gives good results.
