    are you sure, I say because I have been looking and a lot of 1999 w202 have a grey top half...or on the silver cars its a darker colour where the chrome top trim would go on say an elegance model?

    BAS/ASR brake switch changed

    hi all, been fiddling today. I have gone through fuses one by one and re-seated as I have read that this has cured many issues for people. I did notice that one was missing for the "auto pilot" so replaced...still have the above issue now I have also notice that it has a new battery on the car...

    I would say that's condensation to be fair...I have not managed to get mine to the star man as yet will have to try this week, looks like you are going to have to bite the bullet and get it plugged in for a proper going over....I thought you would be sorted after the 2nd magnet....(scratches head)

    Hmm you may be right...still going to get it stared first to confirm...perhaps the oil on mine has caused it to fail... but I thought you said you have changed yours are you thinking the new one is a dud also...

    I know mine is the same feels like the engine is going to shake it self to bits when it happens....I had to drive it 4 miles home the other day, utter mission when you can't stop to re start..if that makes sense...I found getting it rolling then just feather the pedal to get momentum helps, but...
