    OM642 3.0 CDI little/no boost - Turbo advice

    Remove turbo shield then circlip or e clip and only 3 bolts needed to remove it, then just multi plug, I drove the car with unit off but cable tied the turbo arm in up position otherwise the car Judders at 2000 rpm and goes nowhere Hope this helps

    Just to add I have put the actuator back on and all is fine so far, pulls like it should now, big trip to Portsmouth on Sunday for 5 days so will see how she goes, fingers crossed

    I service it myself, just had the actuator back today cost 79.99 but apparently mine was totally goosed so had to have "new"parts at an extra 85 but still cheaper than new turbo unit

    Was the car in limp mode after you unplugged the maf's and drove a few miles, I have similar problems and have had my actuator re conditiond by Taylor's too but still having problems, might try the maf thingy

    Hi I got the same car and had similar problems, I eventually replaced the turbo actuator found on eBay, cost approx 180 as a recon unit and an exchange it's simple to replace with 4 bolts and a plug then all was good Hope this helps
