    Coolant leak

Have heard they are prone to failure, being an inferior plastic part! Will drop it down my local Indy in the week to take a look...hoping it was a quick fix as I've thrown too much money at this car of late! Thanks again

    Coolant leak

Hey guys, I have noticed a small coolant leak from the rubber hose between the air box to the top of the engine. Model is 2011 c200cdi OM651. Is this common? If so what is the fix. Thanks in advance. Will try and get a pic to show the hose

My W204 Facelift Fire Opal Red Progress Thread...

Been a little while since I posted! My reg has finally been transferred, so I've got my pressed plates on, only one niggle as the are thinner than plastic plates, so they do tend to rattle when closing the boot, but is fine during driving, by I will sort this! Managed to detail the merc a...

    W204 rear lip spoiler

Mines just turned up from Taiwan, looks good! But haven't fitted it yet... Has anyone got the link on how to fit? As I know it's a case of heating up and then working it around the boot lid. Thanks

    w204 OEM pads and disks

So I've just jumped in the car and I've got my 'check brake' warning light...so guessing my pads and disks will need doing on the near future! So two questions; 1) Is there anyway of knowing if it's the fronts or rears that require changing? Or is it a case of checking the thickness of...

    Assigning a Reg, how long?

All local offices have now closed, from the dvla website it states that it takes upto 2 weeks for the your new tax disk/mot to arrive and then up to an additional 2 weeks for the v5 to arrive. 59 c class iPod and nav

It's a w204, you can use the aux socket with a iPod jack lead, but the sound quality isn't fantastic, so you can add an inline amp to boost the sound. Unsure on the navi however, I'd rather use my iphone than waste the money tbh...

My W204 Facelift Fire Opal Red Progress Thread...

So I've been busy buying again... Upgraded all the interior/boot/glovebox/puddle lights to LEDs Found a good tutorial on youtube on how to remove all the covers, etc but I used 2x flat head screw drivers to prise the covers off. In total I changed 11 x 501 bulbs and 1 x 42mm fetsoon bulbs to...

    C350 exhaust/diffuser

Depends on your engine, I'd imagine you'd have a c200/c220 to want to do this...if so you need to change the diffuser acquire the two exhaust and take it to someone who can make you a 't' piece to fit the dual exit, as this splits your single exit to dual exit

Slippery slope, ive been buying cleaning kit!

As said, cut it up, personally I cut it in half. I then put it in a bowl of warm water, this makes it more playable and fold over easier without tearing, so you have a clean surface to work from, then use a quick detailer and mist on and off you go. You'll know when to move on as you'll feel it...

    [W204] Cleaning Residue from debadging

Do you know what I find embarrassing when people post and it's not even relevant to the initial question asked ;) It's his car guys, so leaving him do what he wants, I de-badged mine as personally I prefer the less cluttered look, and I have no issues with the way my misses looks or what car I...

    Car Drying Towel

As you say buy cheap and you can afford to bin after a couple of uses, or better still keep and use on the dirtier parts of the cars, such as wheels and sills!
